Bin Guo

Manager Advanced R&D at Purilogics

Bin Guo has extensive work experience in both research and academia. Bin started their career as an Environmental Consultant with Academy of Shanxi Environment Science in China, where they completed an internship before joining Shanxi Lvjing Technology Co. Ltd., also in China, as an Environmental Consultant.

In 2011, Bin Guo moved to the United States and joined Michigan State University as a Research Assistant. In this role, they conducted various research projects focused on water quality and virus inactivation using photocatalytic membrane filtration. Bin also designed and built membrane reactors and performed quantitative chemical and biological analyses on samples. Bin Guo served as a Lab Safety Officer as well.

After their time at Michigan State University, Bin Guo taught as an Instructor of Microbiology and Medical Terminology at Greenville Technical College. Bin was responsible for designing lecture and laboratory materials, managing classroom activities, and preparing exams and projects.

Most recently, Bin Guo joined Purilogics, LLC as a Postdoctoral Scientist and advanced through the ranks to become a Manager of Advanced R&D. Bin has demonstrated expertise in scientific research and development, leading their to their current position.

Bin Guo completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008. Bin then pursued their Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University between 2010 and 2012. Building on this, Bin Guo furthered their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University, completing it from 2012 to 2016.
