Simon Huard Meng

Simon Huard MEng is a seasoned Health and Safety professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Health and Safety Manager at Purolator Inc. since April 2022, Simon previously held positions including Safety, Security, Environment Manager at Sofina Foods Inc., Corporate Safety Manager at The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation, and Health and Safety Coordinator at Marmen Inc. and McCain Foods. Simon began a career in health and safety as an agent at Conseil scolaire de district catholique Franco-Nord and as an Ergonomist at ERGEV conseil en ergonomie. Simon holds a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in ergonomics from Polytechnique Montréal, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Human Resources, and Labour Relations from Université Laval.
