Naomi Yoshida has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Naomi started their career as a Volunteer Legal Advocate at Asylum Access in 2011. Naomi then worked as an Editorial Intern and later as an Editorial Lead at Nella Media Group. Naomi joined Uber in 2013 as part of the Marketing Team, where they reported directly to the Head of Marketing for the Hawaii chapter and played a crucial role in on-the-ground recruitment for Uber's driver-partners. In 2014, Naomi became a Planning Committee member at MORI by Art+Flea, working on community partnerships, marketing, and training interns. Naomi also served as a Manager at an art gallery + design studio called BoxJelly from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, Naomi worked as an Energy Consultant at Tesla for a few months. Naomi then became an Executive Board Member at Hawaii Peoples Fund in 2020. Currently, Naomi is the Marketing Director at Purple Maiʻa Foundation since 2019.
Naomi Yoshida earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2005 to 2010. Naomi'sfield of study focused on African-American/Black Studies and Peace and Conflict Education.
