Ben Harmes

Ben Harmes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they are a member of GrowCFO, a global community that supports finance leaders. In this role, they gain access to various resources, events, and mentorship programs.

Previously, Ben served as the Finance Director at PURPLE starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Controller at Spark44 from November 2019 to July 2021.

Ben has also held the position of Financial Controller at Merkle | Periscopix from July 2018 to November 2019, and at Two Circles from January 2016 to May 2018.

Ben began their career at TNS as a Senior Financial Analyst from November 2010 to April 2014, and later as a Finance Manager from May 2014 to December 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Process Manager at Sony from November 2009 to November 2010, and as a Business Analyst at Sony Professional Solutions from March 2007 to November 2009.

Before stepping into the finance industry, Ben worked as an Investment Accounts Technician at Friends Provident from May 2006 to March 2007.

Ben Harmes is a Qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Ben has also obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Surrey. In addition to their education, they have obtained a certification in Scotwork Advancing Negotiation Skills from Scotwork in June 2015.
