Matt Ogren

Matt Ogren has a diverse work experience in the field of research, strategy, and communications. Matt is currently working as a Research Director at Purple Strategies since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at APCO Worldwide in various roles, including Senior Associate Director, Associate Director, Senior Research Manager, and Research Manager, from 2016 to 2022. Before that, they were associated with Lake Research Partners as an Associate Analyst and Junior Analyst, where they gained experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, focus groups, and survey analysis. Matt also worked as a Logistics Assistant/Support Staff at Lake Research Partners. Additionally, they have held positions at the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center as a Fellow, IE at Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee as a Research Intern, Vanessa Atterbeary for House of Delegates as a GOTV & Volunteer Coordinator, and Media Matters for America as a Communications Intern.

Matt Ogren attended Duke University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
