Cindy Message

Cindy Message is the current Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at PurpleAir. Cindy has held this position since January 2018. Prior to that, they were a visionary consultant, entrepreneur, and investor at Accelage, LLC from January 2015 to January 2018. Cindy Message has over 20 years of experience in financial management and operations. Cindy started their career as a manufacturing engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation from January 1977 to December 1981. Cindy then became a process engineer at Honeywell from April 1974 to February 1977. In 1981, they started working as an engineering manager at ROLM and was promoted to Senior Engineering Manager at IBM in 1989. From May 1989 to August 2000, they worked as the Manufacturing Manager at Hewlett-Packard Colorado Springs Division. In January 2000, they retired from their position as Director at Agilent Technologies.

Cindy Message has a BSEET from Colorado Technical University, an MBA from Webster University, and has done coursework toward a BSEE at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Cindy has also completed a field program in French Cooking at the Institut Paul Bocuse.
