Jeremy Farbota

Jeremy Farbota has over 14 years of experience in engineering and data-related roles. Jeremy began their career in 2007 as a Project Coordinator at Wolfram Research, where they coordinated development of internal projects related to search and web 2.0, and analyzed opportunities in various web marketing areas. Jeremy then moved to a Consultant role, where they coordinated and developed the transition from Business Objects to SQL Server and managed search advertising campaigns. In 2015, Farbota joined Happy Money as a Software Engineer, Data, where they managed the Data Engineering team workload and prioritization, and built and planned infrastructure for near-time batch processing. In 2017, they took on a Senior Director role at Mammoth Media, where they managed the Engineering team, ran data efforts, and led frontend, data, and QA development. In 2020, Farbota joined 9 Count, Inc. as a Senior Director, where they led and implemented all data initiatives, provided technical and strategic leadership to the organization, and built scalable data products. Jeremy currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at PushPress - The Gym Operating System, where they lead all technical operations, recruits and hires engineers, establishes engineering culture and technical strategy, and ensures continuous delivery of positive outcomes.

Jeremy Farbota began their educational career at Parkland College, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies in 2002-2003. Jeremy then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Pre-Med from 2004-2005. Finally, they attended Northwestern University, where they earned an M.S.I.S. in Computer and Information Systems from 2014-2015.
