Brian Perry

Brian Perry has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Brian started their career as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University in 2004 and held this role until 2010. In 2007, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Applied Kinetics for a brief period of three months. In 2010, Brian joined McMaster University again, this time as a Research Assistant, where they stayed until 2011.

Since 2011, Brian has been working at PV Labs, where they have held various roles. Brian started as a Mechanical Designer and worked in this position until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, Brian served as the Technical Lead in Mechanical Engineering. Brian'smost recent role at PV Labs is the Staff Designer in Mechanical Engineering, a position they hold since February 2021.

Brian Perry earned their Bachelor of Engineering and Management, Co-op degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Brian then pursued a Master of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at McMaster University from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Brian obtained various certifications related to Solidworks software, including Certified Solidworks Advanced Professional - Drawing Tools, Certified Solidworks Advanced Professional - Simulation, and Certified Solidworks Professional - Mechanical Design, all obtained in November 2020 from Dassault Systèmes.
