Laura Smailė

Laura Smailė has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laura began their career at FCR Media Lietuva, where they worked as a Regional Sales Manager and later as the Head of Kaunas Regional Sales. In these roles, Laura was responsible for creating and managing sales teams, negotiating contracts, and selling services such as Google AdWords, SEO, and social media advertising.

After their time at FCR Media Lietuva, Laura worked as a Recruitment Specialist at Gi Group. Laura sourced and attracted candidates through databases and social media, conducted interviews, and worked closely with clients to meet their HR needs. Laura also gained experience in TEMP staffing administration.

Next, Laura joined HELIS as a Recruitment Specialist. Their responsibilities included recruiting for IT positions, developing and implementing recruiting strategies, building and maintaining a network of potential candidates, and coordinating new hires' onboarding.

Laura then moved on to Amston, where they worked as an IT Recruitment Consultant. Laura held two roles within the company - Senior IT Recruitment Consultant and IT Recruitment Consultant. In both positions, Laura was responsible for recruiting IT professionals.

Most recently, Laura worked at TransUnion as a Talent Acquisition Partner. In this role, they contributed to the company's goal of providing relevant and timely information to consumers worldwide. Laura was part of a team of software developers, testers, analysts, and engineers, and their role involved talent acquisition and partnering with various departments.

Currently, Laura is working at PVcase as a Human Resources Manager, starting in June 2021.

Laura Smailė obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they also earned an Associate's Degree in Public Relationships from the same university, studying from 2012 to 2014. After completing their undergraduate education, Laura pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Kaunas University of Technology from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including Niche Recruiting from Lynda.com in July 2018, Main Supervisor's Competences in Working with Subordinates from Mercuri International Lietuva in February 2016, The Big Negotiation Seminar from VšĮ "PRAKTIKAI" in December 2015, and Digital Sales from Google in February 2016.
