Marja Wagenaar

Marja Wagenaar is a seasoned leader in consultancy and public governance, serving as the CEO and founder of Leadershipint. since January 2010, specializing in sustainable leadership practices. Currently, Marja holds the position of Chair of the National Scouting Committee for PvdA as well as Chair of the board for the Machiavelli Foundation, which annually honors significant contributions in public communication. Past roles include Chair of the Selection Committee for Members of Parliament at PvdA and various leadership positions within NCCW across advisory and supervisory capacities. Marja's extensive experience also encompasses directing Wagenaar Strategy, and serving as Director of Public Strategy at Nuon Energy, alongside being a former Member of Parliament and Associate Professor at Leiden University. Educationally, Marja is engaged in advanced studies at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and holds a PhD in political sciences and law from Leiden University.
