Orit Schmidt

Orit Schmidt is a Senior Manager of Engineering and Productization at Q-core Medical since January 2012, previously serving as Manager of Final Test Procedure. In 2008, Orit worked as a Postgraduate Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, managing the patient database for an ovarian cancer clinical trial while ensuring quality control for human sample collection and storage. Orit's research experience includes designing and validating a pneumatic bioreactor for cartilage stimulation at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2006, as well as co-inventing a patented biomedical device for spinal fusion surgery in the Biomechanics Laboratory from 2002 to 2003. Orit served as a Human Resources Officer and Administrative Liaison Officer in the Israel Defense Forces between 1995 and 1998. Academic credentials include a candidate for an MBA in General Management from Quinnipiac University, an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Technion, and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Technion.
