Jim Kathrein

Jim Kathrein has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim is currently serving as the VP of US Commercial Operations at Q-linea, where they are responsible for leading the US organization and building Q-linea's commercial team in the USA. Jim also actively participates in partnership discussions to expand Q-linea's footprint in the country.

Prior to their current role, Jim worked as a Senior Commercial Business Advisor, assisting companies in developing their commercial strategies. Jim has also held leadership positions at MeMed, BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, Quest Diagnostics/Focus Diagnostics, and Siemens Healthcare, where they contributed to sales and marketing efforts.

With a background in medical technology, Jim began their career as a Hospital Administrator and Medical Technologist in the United States Air Force. Jim later worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Diagnostic Products Corporation and as the Director of Sales at BioGenex.

Jim Kathrein received an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Medical Technology (MT) from the United States Air Force in 1987. Jim then pursued further education at Wayland Baptist University from 1987 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Healthcare Administration / Medical Technology.
