Benjamin Harwood, PhD

Benjamin Harwood, PhD, has a diverse work experience in biosciences. Benjamin is currently employed at Q-State Biosciences as a Principal Scientist since January 2022. Before that, they worked at the same company as a Senior Scientist from November 2019 to December 2021.

In 2014, Benjamin co-founded On Target Therapeutics, a company focused on enhancing drug-like properties. Benjamin based the company on research from the laboratory of Dr. Alan Kopin at Tufts Medical Center.

Prior to their role as a co-founder, Benjamin worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tufts Medical Center from March 2014 to March 2017. Benjamin also served as a PhD Candidate at Tufts University from September 2007 to March 2014.

Early in their career, Benjamin worked as a Research Technician at The Jackson Laboratory from October 2005 to August 2007.

Benjamin Harwood, PhD received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology/Biological Sciences from Acadia University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2005. Benjamin went on to pursue Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences, General from Tufts University, graduating in 2013.
