Shannon Markey LC, LEED AP

Shannon Markey LC, LEED AP has a diverse range of work experience, with a focus on sales and management roles. Starting in 1987, Shannon worked as a Sales Manager at E&J Gallo Winery for seven years before transitioning to a Sales Manager role at Western Distributing. In this role, Shannon managed a team of 40+ people and oversaw multiple wine brands in the Denver market. Shannon then moved into the lighting industry, working at Pacific Lighting Systems as a Specification/Controls Sales professional from 1996 to 2007.

In 2007, Shannon joined Q-Tran, Inc as the Western Regional Manager, where they managed a team of 20 sales agents and had responsibilities including calling on specifiers, agents, distributors, and end users. After leaving Q-Tran in 2011, Shannon joined WattStopper as the NorthWest District Manager, overseeing the district until 2014 when they transitioned into the role of High Performance Building Specialist until 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Shannon worked at Legrand, North America/Wattstopper as the Western Regional Sales Manager - Specifications. In this role, Shannon was responsible for specification sales, sales and product training, managing sales programs, and leading a specification sales team and field project managers.

Most recently, Shannon Markey LC, LEED AP is the VP of Sales at Q-Tran, Inc, a position attained in August 2019.

Shannon Markey LC, LEED AP pursued their undergraduate education from 1981 to 1985 at Bowling Green State University. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, with a focus on Business and Journalism.
