Francisco Ibañez

Francisco Ibañez, Ph.D., is a biochemist with extensive expertise in molecular biology, molecular genetics, and microbiology, currently serving as a Vaccine and Adjuvant Developer at Q-VANT Biosciences since June 2022. With a robust background in antiviral vaccine and drug development spanning over seven years, Francisco also holds the position of Project Science Manager in the Biotechnology Section of the Innovation department at the National Institute of Health in Chile. Additionally, Francisco is a university professor at both Universidad Bolivariana and Universidad Santo Tomás since March 2020. Francisco's previous roles include Technical Director at MICOBIOMED CHILE and Clinical Laboratory Technical Director at Qualified SPA. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Universidad de Chile, among other qualifications in immunology and vaccine response.
