Sandun Dasanayake

Sandun Dasanayake has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sandun is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Q4US, a company that specializes in delivering software services and products to clients in the FinTech, E-commerce, Data Intelligence, System Integrations, and Digital Transformation sectors. Prior to Q4US, they worked as a Doctoral Student and Master Thesis Student at the University of Oulu. Sandun also held various roles at Trussmatic, including Technology Lead, API Management and DevOps, Director of Software Engineering - Trussmatic R&D, and Senior Software Engineer. Sandun has also served as the CEO, Co-Founder, and Member of the Board at Eksotik Oy. Sandun gained valuable experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia, Symbio, and Ardites. Additionally, Sandun worked as a Trainee Researcher at the Media Team, University of Oulu, and as a Trainee Software Engineer at Virtusa.

Sandun Dasanayake holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, which was completed from 2001 to 2005. Sandun then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Processing Science at the University of Oulu from 2006 to 2012. Currently, Sandun is enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Software Engineering at the University of Oulu, which started in 2013 and is expected to be completed in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, although the details of its completion are not provided.
