Tricia Athey

Tricia Athey is a dedicated First Grade General Educator at Queen Anne's County Public Schools, a position held since August 2017. Prior experience includes work as a Reading Specialist at Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne's Counties, where Tricia designed supplemental reading instruction for 3rd to 5th graders during summer months, and as a Title I Math Tutor at Queen Anne's County Public Schools, focusing on intervention strategies for elementary students. Tricia's earlier roles also include tutoring in Spanish and study skills at Messiah College Learning Center and serving as a Teaching Assistant and Food Services Supervisor with Horizons National of Kent County. Tricia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Messiah College and a high school diploma from The Gunston School.
