Marrakech Arbuckle has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. In 2003, they began their professional career as a Recruitment Fellow at Teach For America. Following that, they worked as a Program Associate at Literacy, Inc. for two years. In 2006, Marrakech moved on to become the Coordinator of Student Activities at The American University of Dubai, holding the position until 2008. After that, Marrakech worked at the Education Above All Foundation's Reach Out To Asia Program as a National Programs Specialist, specializing in international volunteering. They remained with the organization for ten years until 2020. Currently, Marrakech serves as a Senior Learning and Outreach Specialist at Qatar Museums.

Marrakech Arbuckle completed a Bachelor's degree in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Smith College from 1997 to 2001. Subsequently, between 2010 and 2012, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education from Michigan State University. They continued their education at Michigan State University from 2012 to 2014, earning a Certificate in Teaching and Learning.
