Kareem Abdel-Rahman

Kareem Abdel-Rahman started their work experience in 2006 at Societe Generale as a Documentary Collections Executive in the Trade Finance Operation. KAREEM then moved on to become a Letter of Credit Executive in the same department. In 2013, they joined QNB Alahli as a Letter of Credit Team Leader in the Trade Finance Operation. KAREEM later became the Corporate Products Team Leader in Products Sales & Follow-Up in Corporate Banking. In 2018, they were appointed as the Export Desk Deputy Manager in the Corporate Banking Export Desk. Most recently, they have been serving as the Head of Trade Services in the Global Transaction Banking & Product Management division at QNB Alahli since June 2020.

Kareem Abdel-Rahman obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cairo University from 2002 to 2006. In 2015 to 2016, they completed an EBRD E-learning program in Trade Finance. KAREEM also attended the JOINT VIENNA INSTITUTE in 2017 for a Trade Facilitation program. In 2019, they studied Blockchain for FinTech at the Software Engineering Competence Center SECC. In 2020, they completed the Blockchain INTRO - ONLINE course at IBM DIGITAL-NATION and the Project Management Program PMP at the Egyptian Banking Institute. Kareem also holds additional certifications such as Certified Blockchain Expert from the Blockchain Council obtained in 2020, Credit and risk certificate for SME from the Egyptian Banking Institute obtained in 2019, and CDCS 'Certified documentary credit specialist' from the International Chamber of Commerce obtained in June 2012.
