Umesh Poojari

Umesh Poojari is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at QatarEnergy since April 2022, Umesh has previously held senior engineering roles at QAPCO through Mekdam Technical Service and SNC-Lavalin, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams and managing inter-discipline coordination. Umesh's background also includes positions at MAIRE TECNIMONT, STERLING & WILSON ELECTRICALS, and GHERZI EASTERN LTD, focusing on design, project management, and client interactions for various infrastructure and petrochemical projects. Umesh began the career as an Electrical Site Engineer at Hindustan Electricals and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BVB College of Engineering & Technology.
