Jim Haggerty

Jim Haggerty currently serves as the Head of Commercial Programs at QBE North America, a position held since August 2012, where responsibilities include leading enhancements in underwriting practices and processes, and serving on the QBE Underwriting Committee and North America Leadership Team. Previous titles at QBE North America include interim President of Commercial Insurance, interim Chief Underwriting Officer, and Senior Vice President of Underwriting Governance, along with leadership in personal lines and agriculture product underwriting. Prior experience includes roles in portfolio management at QBE Regional Insurance and various underwriting positions at General Casualty and Masswest Insurance Company. Jim Haggerty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Maine, obtained in 1992.
