Mesut Alkan

Mesut Alkan is a Data Scientist currently working at Qbiz. Prior to Qbiz, Mesut worked as a Data Scientist at Playbrush from August 2017 to April 2018. In this role, Mesut worked directly with the CTO to investigate patterns on user behaviour via various sources of data. Mesut's main responsibilities included providing insight from client data using different programming languages (mainly Python), calling APIs through Mandrill (mass emailing service provider) and RechargePayments (billing and subscriptions service provider), monitoring KPIs and setting experiments, and designing new functions to update current ChatBot solutions on the Company's Slack account.

Prior to Playbrush, Mesut worked at Deloitte Corporate Finance from September 2014 to September 2016 as an Associate. As an Associate, Mesut participated in due diligence projects in education, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and real estate sectors. Mesut's main responsibilities included detailed financial analysis of EBITDA, Working Capital and Net Debt, review of forecasted figures, making assumptions for extrapolation, analysis of CAPEX, OPEX by type through different sets of data, maintenance of healthy client relationships resulting in continuous and accurate data flow, and collaboration in training of new graduates.
