Glenn Burkins is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Since November 2008, Glenn has served as the Editor and Publisher of Qcitymetro.com, a hyper-local website focused on providing news and information for the African American community in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to this, Glenn held multiple positions at The Charlotte Observer, including Deputy Managing Editor and Business Editor, from June 2000 to November 2008. Earlier career experiences include work as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal and the Philadelphia Inquirer, where Glenn was an Africa Correspondent, as well as roles at the St. Petersburg Times and the Los Angeles Times as a Business Reporter and Reporter Intern, respectively. Glenn Burkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
