Peyvand Melati has held a number of positions in the tech industry. From 2000 to 2002, they were a Field Application Engineer at STMicroelectronics. From 2002 to 2006, they were Vice President of Engineering at Micro Interface Design, where they were responsible for business development, R&D management, and the design and manufacturing of industrial controllers. From 2006 to 2009, they were President of EWATEK. From 2009 to 2011, they were President of Solarian Technology. From 2011 to 2018, they were a Board Member at Micro Interface Design. In 2020, they became a General Partner at Archangel Network of Funds. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of QEA Tech.
Peyvand Melati completed an Executive MBA at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2016 to 2018, and completed studies at Schulich School of Business - York University from 2016 to 2018. Peyvand also completed an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at University of Tehran from 1992 to 1998.
