Dave Martin

Dave Martin has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in nonclinical and clinical pharmacology. Dave began their career at Amgen in 1994, where they served as the Executive Director of Metabolic Disorders for 13 years. In 2008, they joined Nektar Therapeutics as the Vice President of Biology Research before transitioning to a role as a Consultant at Amgen, Nektar, and Sanifit in 2010. Dave then became a Clinical Consultant, providing drug development expertise to various biotech companies including Amgen, Nektar, and Sanifit. In 2014, they joined Puma Biotechnology as the Senior Director of Preclinical Research, overseeing nonclinical drug development for oncology. Most recently, Dave has held positions at QED Therapeutics, initially as the Vice President of Nonclinical and Clinical Pharmacology and then as the Senior Vice President of Nonclinical Pharmacology. Dave'swork at QED Therapeutics spanned from 2018 to 2022.

Dave Martin earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Royal Veterinary College, U. of London, which they attended from 1983 to 1987.
