Alejandro Alvarez

Alejandro Alvarez has extensive experience in project finance and structured finance within the renewable energy industry. Alejandro has held various leadership positions in companies such as Q ENERGY, Q CELLS, OPDE, and ENERSIDE ENERGY S.L. Throughout their career, Alejandro has been responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of project finance and equity sale transactions, with a main focus on solar and wind projects. Alejandro has also worked in roles related to M&A and corporate finance. Alejandro's experience spans across Europe, Latin America, and worldwide.

Alejandro Alvarez holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Alejandro also obtained a MSc in Management (Grande Ecole), Business Administration and Management from HEC Paris and a degree in International Business Management (FGV EAESP, CEMS) from Fundação Getulio Vargas. Additionally, Alejandro has participated in a Civil Engineering Exchange Program at Imperial College London. Alejandro completed their undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering (Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
