Dmitri Karelin has over 17 years of experience in the engineering and project management field. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as an IT Sales Specialist at STC Constructor, followed by a role as an Electrical Engineer at Vorwerk & Co. KG from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Key Account Manager for Russia & CIS countries and a Project Manager at Applus+ IDIADA. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Institut d'Estudis Espacials de Catalunya - IEEC and a Development Engineer and Local Project Leader at Saint-Gobain. In 2014, they were a Project Manager at CASTELLON AUTOMOTIVE and a Senior Project Manager at DOGA from 2017 to 2020. Dmitri is currently a Technical Consultant and Technical Director at Air Race E, where they are responsible for the development of electric powered air racing planes series, as well as the technical requirements, rules, specs, partners, suppliers, sponsors and racing team management. Dmitri will be taking on the role of Project Manager at QEV TECHNOLOGIES in 2022.

Dmitri Karelin has an extensive education history, beginning with an Aerospace Engineer degree from the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) from 1998 to 2004. Dmitri then completed a Bachelor's degree in English in international relations and trade from the High Foreign Language Courses at Russian Foreign Trade Academy from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they earned a Master of Science in Aerospace Science and Technology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2013. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Global Executive from EAE Business School in 2020 and is expected to complete the program in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: Agile Hybrid Project Pro® from the Project Management Institute in September 2021 and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in February 2019.
