Philip started their career at Apex Systems Inc in 2000 as Managing Director, Principal, specializing in IT staffing solutions. In 2009, they joined Ingenious Med as a VP Sales, focusing on healthcare workflow solutions. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Protenus as VP Sales, utilizing artificial intelligence for patient record audits in health systems. Currently, they hold the role of VP Sales at QGenda since 2022.

Philip Surgala received their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Elon University in 2000.
