Andrew Olson has extensive experience in marketing and business development within the bioinformatics and technology sectors. Currently, Andrew serves as Associate Director of Global Marketing for Discovery Bioinformatics and Knowledge Content at QIAGEN, where responsibilities include leading marketing campaigns and generating over 10,000 leads annually for the global sales team. Prior to QIAGEN, Andrew held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Advaita Corporation, overseeing operations and developing bioinformatics solutions for next-generation sequencing data. Additional roles include Commercialization Principal at Wayne State University, where Andrew focused on intellectual property management, and Executive-in-Residence at TechGrowth Ohio, providing commercialization assistance to early-stage companies. Earlier in the career, Andrew worked in various capacities at TRW Automotive, AxleShox, Whirlpool Corporation, and Shared Medical Systems, accumulating a diverse skill set and strategic acumen. Andrew holds an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan and a BA in Marketing and Japanese from the University of Minnesota.
