Beverley Morris has over 25 years of work experience in the finance and economics sector. Beverley started their career in 1995 as an Economist at Queensland Treasury, where they gained experience in economic analysis and policy. Beverley also worked on economic forecasts and analysis for the State Budget. During this time, they had a 6-month secondment to the Commission of Audit, focused on reviewing government agencies and GOCs.

In 1999, Morris joined the Bank of England as an Economist, working there for three years before moving on to QIC in 2002. At QIC, they held various roles, starting as a Senior Economist and eventually becoming the Head of Liquid Markets Group. As the Head of LMG, their responsibilities included leading QIC's Liquid Markets Group division, managing portfolios and client relationships, contributing to QIC's business strategy, and representing QIC at industry events and forums.

Morris also served as the Director of Fixed Income at QIC, leading the team that managed QIC's fixed income portfolios and providing strategic direction for QIC's fixed income business. Prior to this role, they worked as QIC's Chief Economist and Head of Economics, where they provided economic advice and forecasts to QIC's investment teams and clients.

Throughout their career, Morris has demonstrated expertise in investment management, fixed income, interest rate strategy, and economic analysis. Beverley has a strong track record of delivering optimum outcomes for clients and driving investment and business strategies aligned with client expectations.

Beverley Morris attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business (Economics) (Hons) degree. Beverley'sfield of study was Economics.
