David Wessels

David Wessels has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career in 2008 as an Executive - Valuations at Grant Thornton UK LLP. David then worked as a Senior Regulatory Analyst at PLUS Markets Group plc in 2010. In 2011, they joined Deloitte Australia as an Associate Director Corporate Finance and worked there until 2016. During this time, they also served as Acting Chief Financial Officer at Telikom PNG from 2016 to 2017. David then worked as a Transaction Advisor at Kumul Consolidated Holdings in 2016. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Director Advisory Services at KPMG. In 2019, they became the Director Transaction Services at KPMG Australia. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Strategic Advisor/Consultant for Various companies before joining QIC as a Senior Manager, Global Infrastructure. In 2021, they took on the role of Acting Chief Financial Officer at Titles Queensland, where they will continue until 2023.

David Wessels has a Bachelor of Commerce (hons) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they obtained in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Compt) degree at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they are a Chartered Accountant (CA) certified by both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)). David is also affiliated with the CPA Papua New Guinea.
