Moditha Perera

Moditha Perera has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. They are currently working as the Head of Finance, Technical Accounting Advisory at QIC, a position they started in February 2022. Prior to this, Moditha worked as the Manager, Group Finance at Virgin Australia from September 2021 to February 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Moditha was employed at QIC as the Senior Manager, Accounting Policy. Before that, they worked as the Manager, Accounting Policy and Advisory Group at Macquarie Group from February 2016 to August 2017.

Moditha also had experience at Landis+Gyr as a Financial Analyst, Asia Pacific from June 2015 to February 2016. Earlier in their career, Moditha worked at KPMG Australia, first as a Senior Accountant, Audit from February 2010 to October 2012, and later as an Assistant Manager, CFO Advisory from October 2012 to June 2015.

Moditha Perera has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Accounting from The University of Queensland. They also completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). Additionally, Moditha Perera obtained a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In May 2023, they obtained the FSA Credential Level II Candidate certification from the IFRS Foundation.
