Research Assistant at QIMR Berghofer

Hayden Rohlf is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in molecular biology and assay development. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since May 2022, Hayden previously worked as an Assay Development Scientist and Molecular Biological Research Technician at XING Technologies from January 2020 to May 2022, focusing on the design and optimization of qPCR assays for diagnostics and nucleic acid extraction technologies. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Research Assistant at the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation, where Hayden applied various molecular biology techniques for viral characterization projects involving Herpesviruses. Hayden holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The University of Queensland, completed in 2019 and 2019 respectively.
