Nancy Cloake

Nancy Cloake serves as the Consumer and Community Involvement Lead at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since September 2016, facilitating collaboration between researchers and the community to enhance medical research outcomes. Previous roles at QIMR include Community Fundraising Officer and Events and Engagement Officer, where Nancy engaged with community members and organized events to promote the institute's scientific achievements. Prior experience includes positions at Queensland Brain Institute as Communications Officer, Asia-Pacific Centre for Neuromodulation as Principal Administration and Project Officer, and UQ Centre for Clinical Research as a PhD student focusing on Multiple Sclerosis. Nancy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroimmunology, a Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation, and a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Class I Honours, complemented by additional degrees in biomedical sciences.
