Paul Collins

Paul Collins is an experienced professional with a strong background in scientific services and management. Currently serving as the Analytical Facility Manager at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since August 2011, Paul leads a diverse team specializing in various services, including DNA sequencing and hazardous materials neutralization. Prior to this role, Paul worked as a Scientific Technical Officer at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research from January 1997 to January 2011, focusing on DNA sequencing and peptide synthesis. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry from James Cook University, completed between 1991 and 1996, and attended Gordonvale State High School, graduating in 1990.
