Xuemin Wang

Xuemin Wang is a bioinformatician at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, utilizing short- and long-read sequencing data to analyze genetic variations associated with ataxia. Prior to this role, Wang served as a research officer at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, contributing significantly to studies on endometrial cancer, including meta-analyses, predictive modeling, and Mendelian randomization. Experience also includes positions as a research assistant focusing on genetic dissection in sorghum and as a laboratory technician in agricultural research. Wang holds a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics from The University of Queensland and possesses a strong academic foundation with a Master's degree in Horticultural Science from Zhejiang University and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Hebei Agricultural University.
