Chris Reading

Chris Reading is a Principal Mechanical Engineer at QinetiQ US, with a career spanning over a decade in mechanical engineering and design. Since joining QinetiQ in June 2012, Chris has held various roles, including Senior Mechanical Engineer and Staff Mechanical Engineer, where notable achievements include leading the rapid development of the TISON heavy lift explosive ordinance disposal robot chassis and re-engineering the TALON 5 EOD robot for enhanced performance. Earlier experience includes co-op positions at QinetiQ North America and BAE Systems, where Chris contributed to converting legacy drawings, designing underwater robots, and testing thermal weapon sights. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, earned between 2007 and 2012.
