Josefien Groot

Josefien Groot is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Qlayers. Prior to that, they worked as a business developer for ECN, where they did market analysis for new technologies and helped to improve the marketing and communication for the Biomass & Energy Efficiency unit. Josefien also has experience as an intern in business development for Miniwiz Co. Ltd. and SpiritChick. In their free time, Josefien enjoys hiking and spending time with their family and friends.

Josefien Groot has a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering & Management from Delft University of Technology. Josefien also has a Master Exchange from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Minor from National Taiwan University. Furthermore, they have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Business & Innovation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and a VWO in Nature & Technique (NT) and Nature & Health (NG) from RSG Enkhuizen. Finally, they have certification from Delft University of Technology in Master of Science in Complex Systems Engineering and Management and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in Bachelor of Science in Science, Business & Innovation.
