Ben Pocek

Ben Pocek serves as the Vice President of Engineering for SaaS Operations at Qlik since December 2021, leading Site Reliability and Developer tooling teams globally and managing the Qlik Cloud SaaS offering to enhance product development efficiency. Previously, Ben held the position of Vice President of SRE & Infrastructure at LivePerson from January 2021 to October 2021, where the focus was on building a new Site Reliability Engineering discipline. At Tableau Software, Ben was the Director of Engineering for Cloud Operations and SRE, fostering a Livesite culture and optimizing processes for service reliability from March 2019 to January 2021. Ben's earlier experience includes a Principal Group Engineering Manager role at Microsoft, where multiple key projects such as Windows Azure and a comprehensive Livesite team for Skype were developed, along with a Windows System Administrator position at Electronic Arts supporting extensive server operations. Ben began the career as a System Administrator at RAE Systems Inc., implementing a scalable IT architecture. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
