Dan Sommer is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in Business Intelligence and Analytics markets. Currently serving as the Senior Director and Global Market Intelligence Lead at Qlik since July 2015, Dan oversees the global Market Intelligence team, focusing on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer insights. Prior to Qlik, Dan held various roles at Gartner from January 2005 to June 2015, including Research Director and Principal Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed thought leadership, market analysis, and strategic advisory across the BI and Analytics sectors. Dan's academic background includes a Master of Science in International Business and Economics from Stockholm University, along with studies at the University of Oklahoma and Université Blaise Pascal Clermont-Ferrand.
