Murray Reed

Murray Reed is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as CEO and COO of QLM Technology Ltd since September 2018, Reed has previously acted as a Technology and Business Development Consultant for multiple companies, including a role as Innovation Manager for SETsquared from February 2017 to January 2019. Reed's background includes serving as CTO at Gooch & Housego, leading R&D efforts across multiple sites, and holding senior management roles at Newport Corporation and Coherent. With a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford University and an MSc in Physics from The University of Auckland, Reed has a robust foundation in scientific research and technology development, particularly in photonics and laser systems.
