Suavi Arslan has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on corporate credits, project finance, and credit risk management. Suavi began their career at Demirbank A.S. as the Managing Director of Retail Banking from 2000 to 2001. Suavi then joined RBC Royal Bank, where they served as an Account Manager from 2002 to 2005 and later as a Credit Risk Manager in both Heavy Construction and Project Finance, and Commercial Markets from 2005 to 2007. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Corporate Credits and Project Finance at Finansbank since November 2007. In this role, they partner with business units to structure large corporate deals and oversees credit products, including syndications, project finance, and derivatives. Suavi also develops lending policies and guidelines and actively collaborates with external companies to enhance rating methodologies and scorecards.
Suavi Arslan earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in the Department of Political Science from Istanbul University from 1980 to 1984. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2001 to 2003.
