Amanda Morrison

Amanda Morrison has a wealth of experience in the legal field. Amanda began their career in 2000 as an Agent (part-time, intern) at New York Life Insurance Company, where they completed a standard agent training course. In 2004, they moved to MassMutual as an Operations Support Specialist, where they were the sole reinsurance contract analyst, creating dozens of agreements and hundreds of amendments. In 2007, they joined Generali USA Life Reassurance as a Treaty Counsel, where they managed the entire reinsurance treaty (contract) process for designated corporate clients, from drafting through negotiations. Amanda also assisted the SVP, general counsel in various business, legal and compliance matters. In 2010, they co-authored Law for Business and Personal Use 19th Edition, a legal textbook for high school and college students. In 2013, they joined both SCOR as a Consultant and St. Joseph Health as a Senior Contracts Administrator, where they achieved over $800,000 in hospital savings within three years through vendor contract negotiations and led strategic RFP and cost-savings initiatives. In 2016, they moved to Equifax as a Senior Contract Manager, where they managed and negotiated million-dollar client transactions. In 2018, they joined Safety National as the Director - Products Compliance, where they managed the products compliance unit and created and implemented process improvements. Finally, in 2021, they joined QOMPLX, Inc. as the Director of Contracts, where they are the sole attorney at the company and manages all customer and vendor agreements, as well as creating and updating all legal templates.

Amanda Morrison attended Western New England University School of Law from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.). Prior to that, they attended Missouri State University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Insurance and Risk Management.
