Athar Shamim

Athar Shamim has extensive work experience in product management and business analysis roles. Athar is currently serving as the Director of Products at qordata since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at qordata from April 2017 to March 2022.

Before joining qordata, Athar Shamim held various roles at Assurety Consulting Inc. from November 2011 to March 2017. Athar started as a Senior Business Analyst and then progressed to Assistant Product Manager and eventually became a Product Manager. During their time at Assurety Consulting Inc., they worked closely with clients, internal departments, and subject matter experts to develop and deliver high-quality products.

Athar Shamim also gained experience in business development as a Senior Executive at Emmaculate from March 2011 to November 2011.

Earlier in their career, Athar Shamim worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Keynote DeviceAnywhere from February 2007 to September 2010. Their responsibilities included analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and designing user interfaces.

Athar started their career as a Business Analyst at Algorithm Consulting (Pvt) Ltd from September 2005 to September 2006.

Athar Shamim completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Karachi University, which lasted from the year 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration, from the year 2017 to 2019.
