Karen Woodhead

Karen Woodhead's work experience spans over several companies and roles. Karen started their career as an English Teaching Assistant in Madrid before working as an English Teacher in Colombia. From there, they became a Marketing Executive at DV Partnership, where they marketed industrial development land. Karen then transitioned to Help the Aged, where they worked as a Marketing Manager, launching various products and services to generate profit for the charity.

Following that, Woodhead worked at ThinkDigital Limited as a Marketing Manager, managing the brand and marketing efforts for the company. Karen then established their own company, White Space Communications Limited, where they served as the Marketing Director and Owner. During their tenure, they grew the business into a top 100 agency, offering communication strategy and digital services across various sectors.

Woodhead later founded another business, 12 Miles North Limited, where they served as the Brand Director. After selling this agency, they joined Huthwaite International as the Director of Marketing, focusing on B2B marketing and driving demand generation and sales/marketing alignment.

Currently, Woodhead is employed at Qoria, where they hold the position of Executive Vice President - Global Marketing. In this role, they lead the global marketing efforts for the Qoria group of companies, including Smoothwall and Linewize, with a focus on revenue generation, demand generation, and brand strategy.

Throughout their career, Woodhead has consistently demonstrated expertise in brand strategy, demand generation, sales/marketing alignment, and digital marketing.

Karen Woodhead obtained a BA (hons) 2:1 degree in Spanish and Media from Leeds Trinity and All Saints in 1991. Karen then pursued a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Marketing at the University of Leeds from 1994 to 1996. In 2010, they completed a postgraduate degree in Creative Writing from The University of Sheffield.
