Gregoire Hornung

Gregoire Hornung has been working in the data science field since 2010. In that year, they began their Ph.D. Candidate role at CEA, where they were in charge of the analysis of experimental data obtained with a new technique. Gregoire then moved to Ghent University in 2013, where they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the advanced data analysis group of the nuclear fusion research unit. In 2016, they began their role as a Data Scientist at AXA, where they were involved in various projects such as multi constraints stochastic optimization and web log analysis. In 2019, they joined Bain & Company as a Senior Manager, Data Science, Manager, Data Science, and Senior Data Scientist, Advanced Analytics Group. In 2020, they co-founded AMAAAI!, a small team of passionate software engineers. Lastly, in 2022, they will become the Head of Data at Qover.

Gregoire Hornung has a comprehensive education history. From 2005 to 2008, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Project Management from ENSGSI. From 2008 to 2010, they obtained a master in Engineering Physics from Ghent University. From 2010 to 2013, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Aix-Marseille University. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications: Communicating Data Science Results from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2015, Practical Predictive Analytics: Models and Methods from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2015, and Data Manipulation at Scale: Systems and Algorithms from Coursera Verified Certificates in October 2015.
