Stefan Ebner-Benke has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Stefan began their career as a Project Research Assistant at the University of Graz in 2013. Stefan then joined the Max F. Perutz Laboratories, first as a University Assistant, prae-doc, and later as a PhD Student Representative. During their time at the Max F. Perutz Laboratories, they also served as the Managing Editor and a Member of the Editorial Board for the journal Microbial Cell. In 2018, Stefan joined winnovation consulting gmbh as an Innovation Consultant and Analyst, and later became a Senior Researcher & Consultant. Stefan then joined QPS Austria GmbH in 2021, first as a Study Director and currently as the Head of Study Coordination.
Stefan Ebner-Benke's education history begins in 2004 when they started attending Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. There, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Molekularbiologie and completed it in 2010. Following this, Stefan went on to further their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Molekulare Mikrobiologie, which they completed in 2013.
In 2013, Stefan enrolled at the University of Vienna to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molekularbiologie. Stefan dedicated five years to their research and academic studies, graduating with a PhD in 2018.
Seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise in executive management, Stefan attended California Lutheran University in 2019. There, they pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and successfully completed the program in 2020. Throughout this educational journey, Stefan focused on subjects such as Molekularbiologie, Molekulare Mikrobiologie, and Executive Management.
