David Cheng

David Cheng started their work experience in 2017 as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Pompeian. David then joined the Adele H. Stamp Student Union and worked as a Guest Services Assistant from 2014 to 2018, while also serving as a Student at the University of Maryland during the same period. In 2018, they transitioned to Raytheon Solipsys as a Systems Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they are employed as an Embedded Software Engineer at Qrypt, starting from June 2023.

David Cheng completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they also pursued a Minor in International Engineering from the same institution from 2016 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, David then enrolled in the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
