Bec Penn

Bec Penn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They worked as the Head of Creative at QS Quacquarelli Symonds since May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Brand Consultant for various clients starting in November 2022. From September 2020 to January 2023, they held the position of Head of Studio at Avado. Before that, they were a Lead Motion Designer and Creative Designer at Avado from November 2018 to September 2020 and June 2018 to November 2018, respectively. Bec Penn also served as the Communications and Marketing Manager at AnimalVegetableMineral Ltd from June 2017 to June 2018. They worked as an Animator (Freelance) at Winch Energy Ltd from December 2016 to April 2018. They were a Designer (Freelance) at Partridges of Sloane Square from September 2016 to January 2017 and at European Snowsport :: Verbier, Zermatt & St Moritz from June 2016 to December 2016. Additionally, Bec Penn worked as a Sales Assistant and Ski Instructor at European Snowsport :: Verbier, Zermatt & St Moritz for two winters (2014/15 and 2015/16), during which they also freelanced as a designer for the brand. They had a part-time role as an Animator and Designer at the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED SHIPBROKERS from May 2015 to December 2015. Before that, from August 2011 to January 2013, they served as a Laser Cutting Machine Operator, Casual, at the School of Built Environment, UNSW.

Bec Penn has a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Computing from UNSW, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Bec then pursued a Master's degree in Animation from the University of Technology Sydney, from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, they also obtained a BASI Level 1 and Level 2 certification in Ski Teaching from the International Centre of Excellence.
