MRI Regional Modality Head For Brisbane/brisbane North at Qscan

Cassandra Baker has a diverse work experience in the field of radiography. Cassandra began their career in 2011 as a Radiographer at Queensland Health, where they worked until 2012. Cassandra then moved on to work as an MRI and CT Radiographer at the University of Melbourne Faculty of Veterinary Sci for a brief period. After that, Cassandra worked as a CT and MRI Radiographer at Central Queensland Radiology from 2013 to 2015. Cassandra also gained experience as a Mammographer at BreastScreen Queensland during the same period. Cassandra then returned to Queensland Health as a Senior Radiographer from 2015 to 2016. Cassandra continued their career as a Locum CT and MRI Radiographer for two years until 2019. In 2019, Cassandra joined the University of Oxford as a Senior MRI Radiographer, specializing in cardiac imaging and research. Cassandra trained other healthcare professionals in cardiac and liver MRI and performed various scans for research studies. Currently, Cassandra is employed at Qscan Group as an MRI Technologist and the MRI Regional Modality Head for Brisbane and Brisbane North. In this role, they provide leadership in the MRI modality, collaborates with regional doctor groups, and works on innovation and clinical governance projects. Cassandra also supports the National Modality Head and implements training, safety measures, and new protocols in the region.

Cassandra Baker completed their Master of Magnetic Resonance Imaging degree from City, University of London in the years 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) with Distinction from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), although the specific years of attendance were not provided. In addition to their formal education, Cassandra has obtained several certifications, including "Business Development: Strategic Planning," "Become a Leader," "Operations Management Foundations," and "Project Management: Healthcare Projects," from LinkedIn in the beginning of 2023.
